Great Grandma & Grandpa Longbottom

On October 18, 2013 we said goodbye to your Great Grandma Longbottom.

Luckily, she was able to meet you before she passed away.  You brought a smile to her face and she brought a smile to yours.  This was before you were smiling all the time so I think it is pretty special. You were actually pretty fussy until she was holding you.  She hadn't been doing well, but when we put you in her arms it was the most alert and responsive she had been in a week.  How amazing is that?  Here is a picture of the two of you taken at her house just a few days before she left us.

Here is a picture of two of your Great Grandmas together at mine and your dad's wedding.  Grandma Lehmann passed away the year you were born, but that will be a post for another day.

You didn't get to meet your Great Grandpa Longbottom sadly, but here is their wedding picture.

Rest in Peace Grandpa and Grandma.
